“The running course has greatly benefited my general well being and in particular my mental health. I have been struggling with grief and the running course is giving me the distraction and focus I need to help me through this very difficult time in my life. The course has inspired me to run 3 times throughout the week which is helping my fitness levels and planned weight loss. Vicki has been an exceptionally encouraging and supportive coach, expertly balancing the needs of those of us new to running and those who are more experienced. It’s team building to run with others who work in the Trust and to forge those social connections with staff in other departments which we don’t have the opportunity to do during the working day. “I have really enjoyed doing the run coaching sessions so far. I am a runner and found these sessions really useful for accountability. I sometimes struggle to fit in my intervals sessions and find the sessions perfect for these. Some people in our group are also brand new to running and I think they have found it useful to have the sessions as an intro to running and it is definitely suitable for all abilities.”
