Specialist Running & Wellness Retreats in Spain March 2024

Following the success of our 2023 running and wellness retreats, we are delighted to announce our dates for 2024.

Vicki Taylor, England Athletics qualified Running Coach and Becky Haseldine, BTN Academy Certified Nutrition Coach have linked up with Helena Shirley and Vitality Wellness Retreats to create two bespoke running and wellness retreats in March 2024.

Vicki is an experienced runner competing in all race distances from 5k to ultra marathons, Becky specialises in sports nutrition for runners and Helena is a Personal Trainer and Sports Yoga Coach who will welcome you to her beautiful Spanish getaway.  

The team’s combined experience and expertise means you will receive the very best coaching and education over your 4 day break.

This is your chance to experience a real variety of running from mountain trails, athletics track sessions and beach runs, all within the most beautiful location in Spain. You will be staying in the tranquil, beautiful village of Forna where you will eat healthy, nutritious and energy rich foods as well as soaking up the peaceful mountain environment of the unspoilt Spanish countryside.

As well as running and education sessions, you will have the opportunity to experience a diverse range of activities including Strength & Conditioning and Sports Yoga and receive expert tuition from professional coaches, as well as having fun, meeting others and enjoying the company of the Vitality Team.  

This is your time to focus on you, your running, strength, nutrition and mindset with a huge variety of sessions to keep you running, stronger, longer and better.  

A true mix of practical sessions, education, relaxation and recovery.

We will provide support to you on nutrition, tracking workload, fuelling well for exercise, mindset and motivation, as well as help you make improvements to your running and your own health and wellness.

Vicki and Becky have both previously attended the Vitality Wellness Retreats and enjoyed it so much that they wanted to create two bespoke events for their clients and friends.

We have put together two Specialist Running and Wellness Retreats for runners of all abilities.

Retreat 1 will run from Wednesday 6th March – Sunday 10th March 2024 NOW SOLD OUT

Retreat 2 will run from Monday 11th March – Friday 15th March 2024

The running and wellness retreats in Spain provide the perfect opportunity for you to enjoy a variety of different running environments with specific coached sessions and to learn all about injury prevention and nutrition to support your goals.

This experience will suit all runners regardless of ability and pace – there is something for everyone and all sessions can be adapted to cater for mixed abilities.

Accommodation:

You will be staying in one of three charming, rustic villas with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, an ancient castle and unspoilt Spanish countryside.

Located 60 minutes drive from Valencia and 80 minutes from Alicante, the village of Forna is situated in a completely unique and tranquil mountain environment.

After a day of activities you can stretch out and relax on our yoga lawn, enjoy a refreshing swim in our infinity pool or wander into the charming village of Forna. 

A healthy, delicious  meal will be served every evening so you can relax and enjoy yourself.
